The Rotary Club of Grosse Ile was chartered in 1947 and was the first service club in Grosse Ile.  Every year the club recognizes a local resident as "Citizen of the Year" and a graduating senior from Grosse Ile High School as the "Service Above Self Award" recipient.  These honors are given for their contribution to our community recognizing service given with no expectation of personal attention or reward.  

The Rotary Club of Grosse Ile has also been printing and distributing the Island Directory to island residents since 1959.  Please update your information for the next edition.
